Training Portal Pro Tips
: The following quick tip is based on a commonly asked question from other Training Portal users.

Training Portal Pro Tip #4: How to Search the Training Catalog
There are now several ways to search and filter our Training Catalog to find the courses you need. At the top of the Training Catalog, you will see an open Search for course field. This will allow a general search based on any key words you enter.

The next option is to use FILTERS. By selecting this option, you can search by course LOCATION (there are five learning centers and several temporary locations), FORMAT (online, hybrid, or in-person), and STATUS (open, waitlist, coming soon, etc.). The filters will remember your selections, so if you are making multiple searches, be sure to CLEAR ALL FILTERS each time. There are also options to SORT COURSES: A-Z and SORT COURSES: START DATE.

Finally, we have our trainings organized by category. New Workers are assigned Child Welfare Foundations Training (CWTA X100) by their supervisors. Specialty Courses are for any child welfare professionals who are seeking professional development or need additional training in specific areas of practice. Self-Paced includes asynchronous, online modules, such as Mandated Reporter Training. The View All Courses button will clear your search and display all available courses.

When in doubt, you can find all of our
