Human Trafficking Prevention Month
January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month, a designated observance designed to educate the public about human trafficking and the role they can play in preventing and responding to human trafficking. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has shared this Human Trafficking Prevention Month Toolkit. Child protection workers who need training in this area should register for Human Trafficking and Sexually Exploited Youth: Basic Training for Child Welfare (CWTA X205).
SSIS Basics Video Course Now Available For new workers, SSIS Labs are no longer part of Child Welfare Foundations Training. Instead, recordings of the SSIS training are now available on our Training page, under Quick Links, called SSIS Basics for Child Protection Workers. This is a great resource for new and current workers to watch and review as needed.
