Training Portal Pro Tips
: The following quick tip is based on a commonly asked question from other Training Portal users.

Training Portal Pro Tip #5: Grant Canvas Permission
The courses we offer through the Training Portal are hosted on Canvas, which is a learning management system (LMS) that organizes and shares everything needed to complete a course. This includes videos, online modules, resources, evaluations, assessments, and more. When you first set up your Training Portal profile, you will need to grant permission to Canvas, which allows the portal to display details regarding your training progress and allows you to manage your training information all in one place.

The Training Portal will ask you to reauthorize your Canvas permission annually. Be sure to complete this task. If permission needs to be granted, you will see the Canvas Permission Required message on the homepage of your Training Portal. A video explaining this process can be found here.
