October 2023

Welcome to The Acorn! Each month we share the latest trainings and resources available to child welfare professionals throughout Minnesota.

Updates

Indigenous Peoples' Day

Today we honor the sovereignty, resilience, and immense contributions that Native Americans have made to the world. We celebrate the upholding of ICWA by the US Supreme Court, and the important work being done by the Tribal Training and Certification Partnership (TTCP). TTCP seeks to improve outcomes for American Indian families through building capacity within the child welfare workforce. ICWA/MIFPA Ongoing Worker training is available now! Visit our Training Catalog and schedule your training today!
